EDGE

About EDGE

Edge is a Catholic middle school youth ministry program.

It provides a safe fun place for youth to find solid Catholic community, to get answers to their questions about faith, and, most importantly, to experience Jesus in a profound and personal way.

Edge speaks to the physical, psychological, cognitive, relational, and spiritual maturation of middle school youth.

Edge Youth Ministry present Catholic teaching in a way that young people can understand.

A typical EDGE Session

Gather- All gather together for large group activities: opening music and prayer, announcements, overview of the session, and ice breakers.

Proclaim- The teaching is taught through scripture, skits, games, video clips, and/or witness/catechetical talks.

Break- Divide into small groups and get into the meat of the topic. In the small groups, we may have discussion questions, small group activities, skits, and/or crafts.

Send- the youth after rejoining the large group to be reminded how to live the lesson in their everyday lives!
